urbi cleans up.

In News, urbi Blogs by Adelina Naidu

These days, it’s more important than ever that we all work together to help keep our planet as clean and healthy as possible. After all, it’s the only home we’ve got – and it deserves to be looked after.

This is why urbi is proud to partner with ECU for this year’s Clean Up Australia Day, to help do our bit for the planet. Doing so allows us to combine two of our favourite things: getting involved in the community, and helping people discover a new and healthy way to move.

On the day, we’ll be on the ground at ECU to help show students and staff how to hire the urbi bikes and use the app, with our bike officers and ambassadors on hand to answer any questions. Riding an urbi bike will make it quicker and easier for those involved in the cleanup work to collect rubbish … and it’s always more fun to get around on two wheels than on two feet!

And, because we know all that riding and rubbish collection is hungry work, the urbi team will also be putting on a BBQ to thank everyone for taking part on the day. This year’s event will take place on Monday March 4, so make sure to come down to the ECU Joondalup campus if you’d like to take part. Many hands make light work!
