The urbi team was excited to take part in the recent Guild Fair at ECU Joondalup on February 28. The Fair was a fantastic opportunity to get the urbi name out there, and to educate ECU students on how easy it was to hire bikes for a fun, healthy and easy way to get around campus.

To encourage students to visit the urbi tent and engage with what we had to say, we also had a number of prizes and giveaways on offer. These included a stationary bike challenge, with students competing against one another for a chance to win a Co-op voucher, as well as vouchers for a free Boost Juice just by hiring out an urbi bike.

Students who visited the tent and hired out an urbi bike with the app also went in the major draw to win a $500 JB Hi-Fi gift voucher. The more times students hired urbi bikes, the more entries they received into the draw. We were able to sign up a number of new students on the day, which was a fantastic result.

The ECU Student Guild also helped to spread awareness about urbi by sending students along to our tent and letting them know that, as ECU students, they ride for free with urbi. All in all, it was a great day and we are excited to have received such a positive result in helping students enjoy all the benefits that come from getting around with urbi.
